As I was walking back from Kaneko on a clear Friday evening, I stumbled across a group of slugs oozing on a patch of mushrooms just outside of Lausanne Hall. They were gray/black slugs, the kind that seem prevalent throughout campus (at least, when it’s been raining that day). They caught my eye, even in the dark, just by sheer number of them. There must have been 8 or 9 of them, on top of what was a relatively small-sized group of mushrooms. This picture doesn’t capture aptly just how large and in charge these guys are, but I think it illustrates my point to a degree.
